Inspired by personal experience
As a son whose mother lives with late-stage dementia, I intimately understand the unique mealtime needs of caregivers. Many men, in particular, may not have experience preparing nutritious and appealing meals for themselves or their loved ones living with dementia or other at home care loved ones. This personal journey inspired me to create Maui Matt's Meals: I moved from the Islands to be closer to my own Mother and wanted to create a dedicated solution for individual meals, designed to ease your burden and nourish you and your loved ones.
A passion for culinary excellence
My passion for food and cooking is a gift I've nurtured over 15 years in the food industry, across Hawaii, Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Guam, and the UK. From working as a cook in professional kitchens to managing culinary operations and overseeing food halls across multiple cities, I've honed my skills and deepened my love for creating exceptional, attainable food options. This extensive background allows me to infuse creativity and expertise into every meal I prepare for you.
More than just meals
At Maui Matt's Meals, I aim to be more than just a meal service. I want to be a source of support and education. That's why I also dedicate time to offering personal cooking lessons, teaching the basics of creating healthy and accessible meal options. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to provide nourishing food for yourself and your loved ones.
